Constitutional Amendments have had a bad name after the Gay Marriage and Flag Burning debacles. However a good one has came along and it also came from Wisconsin's own Russ Feingold: He has introduced one to require elections when Senate seats are vacant, instead of replacements being appointed by Governors as they currently are. What better time to do it than with Exhibit A, B, and C in recent memory? The NYT even came out in support of it.

Another election? We might have to find another batch of elderly women to staff the election centers, I think they need 364 days to recharge.
