I think this here is one of the better descriptions of the tea party/GOP relationship I have seen.

As far as I can tell, the GOP has been stolen by assholes and neocons, like I was, and your guy here is saying. The fact that Ron Paul has been brought back is laughable. Where were they in ought 8? For fucks sake W had one of the biggest governments ever.

Your guy is right to say that his people and the tea party people are at odds. but somehow are getting together.
